Formally known as Harstine Oyster Company, Salish Seafoods was purchased by the Squaxin Island Tribe in the early 1970’s. Today Salish Seafoods grows oysters on 41 acres of tidelands on pristine Squaxin Island which is uninhabited tribal reservation land. Salish Seafoods is located on 5 acres of uplands on Harstine Island adjacent to 5 acres of tidelands. Our primary shellfish farm, Squaxin Island, also geographically located in South Puget Sound is one half mile due west of our main facility. Squaxin Island is approximately 6 miles in length, and up to one half mile in width.

Our fresh product list includes the following: Manilla clams, live Pacific oysters, live Kumomoto oysters, mussels, shucked oyster meats, live native Olympia oysters, Olympia Oyster meats, and wild Coho, Chum, and Chinook salmon. Our frozen product list includes tiger prawns, Greenlip mussels, smoked oysters, squid tubes, tilapia fillets, grouper fillets, and catfish fillets

Salish Seafoods has partnered with Little Creek Casino Resort to open the SQUAXIN ISLAND SEAFOOD BAR. Stop by to enjoy local oysters, shrimp, mussels, clams and more!
