Salish Seafoods
Salish Seafoods
Salish Seafoods is a commercial seafood operation owned by the Squaxin Island Tribe.
All Salish Seafoods geoduck and oyster products are grown on the beaches surrounding Squaxin Island, where constant tidal exchange, undeveloped shorelines, and the absence of residential runoff support clean growing conditions. Manila clams are harvested by Tribal Members from beaches throughout Southern Puget Sound.
The Squaxin Island Tribe has harvested shellfish from the Southern Salish Sea since time immemorial. Today, Salish Seafoods carries that relationship forward through the management of its shellfish beds, harvesting, processing, sales, and distribution.
Salish Seafoods also works with other Tribes, vendors, and regional seafood partners while supporting commercial Tribal fisheries and the Tribe’s continued participation in the working waterfront economy.
